I was doing some research, trying to expand on what authors I read since lately its been mostly Stephen King and George R.R. Martin. I stumbled across several new and a couple established authors that I have never heard of and thought it'd be fun to read some new authors for me. These books wont appeal to all of you, but here are some suggestions I have based on the book descriptions.
Jamie - Room by Emma Donoghue, Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay, and The Paris Wife by Paula McLain
Mom- Room by Emma Donoghue, Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford and The Paris Wife by Paula McLain
Ally - Room by Emma Donoghue, Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay and Revived by Cat Patrick
Aaron - Lamb and Fool by Christopher Moore, Calico Joe by John Grisham and The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach
Dad - The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach and Defending Jacob by William Landay
John - I'm sorry I don't really know what you like to read but I think you'd like Defending Jacob by William Landay
As a disclaimer, Fool and Lamb are very raunchy from what I've heard. Fool is a retelling of King Lear from the Fool Pocket's perspective and Lamb is the Gospel According to Biff, Jesus' childhood friend and chronicles the years missing between his birth and the four Gospels (Religious Satire obviously).
All of these books are books I plan on reading in the near future and I wanted to share them in case any of them interested anyone else.
